So you’ve decided to tie the knot! Congratulations! Now it’s a matter of deciding what your big day will look like - a simple, short and sweet ceremony (perhaps even eloping or just the legals) or all the trimmings of a personalised, full wedding! It’s up to you. Whatever you choose I’m here to help you along the way and to make the day all about you!

No Fuss (Elopment)

$450 (Mon-Thurs) | $500 (Fri-Sun)

So you want to get married but without all the fuss! Traditionally eloping was running away to get married. Although it may still be viewed as this today, it is generally a short, intimate ceremony, often in a desirable location, with just the couple or shared with a very small number of loved ones. Two witnesses over the age of 18 are required.

Short and Sweet

$500 (Mon-Thurs) | $550 (Fri-Sun)

If you would like a brief ceremony consisting of just the ‘must have’ legal components, then this one is for you! The vows, the signing of the register and a few words from me to say I am an authorised celebrant is all that is required!

The Lot

$800 (Mon-Thurs) | $850 (Fri-Sun)

A full, personalised ceremony with all the trimmings for your big day, shared with your family and friends. This package includes all that you want to make your wedding a day to truly remember. It can consist of all or some of the following: a ‘Couples story,’ readings, rituals, personal vows, in fact anything at all! It’s up to you but I can provide lots of ideas and resources to assist.

SO WHAT'S NEXT?

Just get in contact with me, either by phone or email, to see if I am available. We will then meet up and discuss what you are after. If you are happy to move forward we will arrange a time to complete the initial paperwork and begin to plan your ceremony. I will have lots of ideas to share with you. How exciting!! If you opt for ‘The Lot’ ceremony, to help me get to know you and to write your personalised couple’s story, I will ask you to complete a number of questions. I will then draft your ceremony and meet up with you to go through it. You will sign a legal declaration and we will finalise all the practicalities for your wedding day. I can also attend your rehearsal if required. Then it’s off to share in your special occasion and make it a day to remember. You will be presented with a Marriage Certificate to make it all official. Following the wedding, I will submit the necessary legal documentation to BDM so that your marriage can be registered. Here’s to love for eternity!

RENEWAL OF VOWS

So you want to say, ‘I do’ again and and pledge your ongoing love for one another. What better way than to renew your vows and to share this with family and friends. This ceremony can be tailored to what you want and may include readings, rituals and a couple’s story. You will receive a personalised certificate as a momento of this special occasion. I will meet with you to plan the ceremony and provide ideas and resources to assist. Here’s to love for eternity!

NAMING CEREMONIES

There is no more joyous moment in life than welcoming a new born baby to the family. So why not celebrate this with a special naming ceremony shared with your loved ones. I will help plan a ceremony worthy of your precious new family member, which may include readings, rituals, stories and a special certificate complete with the meaning of your child’s name, to mark this significant occasion.

FUNERAL / CELEBRATION

OF A LOVED ONE'S LIFE

The passing of a loved one is an opportunity to celebrate their life and remember the legacy they left. I will work with you, and your funeral service provider, to plan a ceremony fitting for them. I will provide resources for you to select from including readings and rituals and facilitate the service.

$500 (Mon-Thurs) | $550 (Fri-Sun)

ANIMAL COMPANION FUNERAL / CELEBRATION

There’s no doubt that our pets and animals become very much a part of our family. They are loyal and loving companions who are always by our side and who are a big part of our lives. So when it is time for them to leave us, it is a very sad time. What better way to honour them than by having a celebration to remember them and the joy they brought into our lives. The ceremony can include special readings and rituals to be shared with loved ones. I will provide ideas and resources to help in planning this.

$400 (Mon-Thurs) | $450 (Fri-Sun)

Prices are for 2023 & 2024 and include travel up to 120km return from Strathalbyn.

*Over this and attendance at a rehearsal may incur an additional charge.
